Today, it has rained buckets of rain off and on all day. This morning walking to school, I got soaked even with my umbrella and raincoat. As soon as I arrived at the school house it stopped raining. The sun came out for awhile. When the children were ready to go out for recess in the morning and afternoon it was pouring rain. They played hide and seek inside for recess. Right now as I write this it is raining buckets of rain again. We have a catch water system from the roof to the water tank so it is a good thing to get rain. It helps keep the tank full and water running in the house. We have a ceramic water filter for all the drinking water.

It sounds like you have had an interesting week with construction and school. I am sure that it is interesting learning about the culture there. The Lord must want the hospital built as he continues to answer prayers on your behalf.
It has warmed up here a little. We had a mixture of rain and snow last evening. I am sure the roads are slick this morning.
We are off from school today because of Martin Luther King day. It will be nice to get a few more things done. I spent part of the weekend getting my grade book set up and I need to finalize my ASD orders, then back to school tomorrow.

When we were out in Prince William Sound this summer, there was a garbage can that caught the rain as it came off the roof. There wasn’t a filter, but we could use the water to wash dishes. We brought enough water in to drink. That was my first experience with catching rain water. It rained a lot while we were out there and we didn’t have problems having enough for our needs.

It is 35 degrees F. and sunny in Palmer Alaska. They say one of the major benefits to rain is that you don’t have to shovel it. I hope you don’t get tired of the rain and enjoy every new thing you discover. We love you two and are praying for God’s leading and blessing.

Hi Mike and Diane post some picture of the work site. We are praying for you. Keep up the good work. Looks like the project in full swing and weather seems nice. Mike can probably finish it in record time. Just kidding old buddy I know the challanges the face you. But God is big enough.

It has been raining over here as well. All the fields turned into lakes. Looks like it will be freezing tonight as well.
